Introduction - Syeda Lubna Miah
My name is Syeda Lubna Miah. I chose media studies for A levels because I enjoyed this subject during my GCSE. From this I am aware of the basic media studies knowledge. Media studies is different from GCSE but I like learning the new stuff such as the new software's (etc). I like playing around with different types of software's for example motion. For the film opening me and my group members are going to make i think i would be doing most of the editing. This is because i enjoy doing this and like trying out different stuff.
For my planning target I am going to detail my storyboard thoroughly and spend more time on it.
My filming target is to use the equipment’s such as tripod for an accurate shot.
Editing target is to use the wide range of effects.
Introduction - Atqiya Shohid
The reason I chose to do Media Studies is because I enjoy the idea of getting to use the computers for editing and all the other things. This is my first time doing the subject and I am really enjoying it. The process of filming and editing is enjoyable.
Evaluation:
Planning Target: I should plan my storyboards with more accuracy and include more detail.
Filming Target: I have to accurately follow my storyboard and also pay more attention to the people I cast for the film.
Editing Target: I should experiment more with different types of transitions.
Introduction - Rubel Ahmed
I chose to study Media as an A-level because I am highly interested in the process of film making. As I am new to the subject, I had to learn everything from scratch and I have grasped the concepts quickly. I like Media Studies as it is very practical and enjoyable.
Planning target: I need to add more detail in my story board and make sure my story board follows the genre.
Filming target: I have to spend time organising the film and focus on the props I use and try be more accurate relating the film to our chosen genre.
Editing target: I have to use more good effect and try different variety of transition.
