Extra scene used in the film

This was an extra scene added on in the film. The way i made this is in the begging of the film before the flashback it flashes part of Rubels body. In between theses flashes i decided to put in a camera shutter sound so it looks like the hit man is taking a picture. After the shutter sound on photo shop i made a Polaroid, i then took a freeze frame of what i wanted in the picture. In the background i took a picture of a newspaper and placed it at the back. At first i had a plain black background but this looked very weird. So i then decided to put a newspaper to make it more realistic. I changed the colours in the picture and made them black and white, this looks better then the coloured version. This makes it look more mysterious.

This is how i change the colour of the pictures. I did this on final cut.

Final Titles/Credits used in the film opening

From the old credits i made i realised that they seem to slow and calm for an action film. From this information, i made another set of style and movement using motion on the mac computers.

For all the credits used are all in the same font, colour and motion. From my research i gathered that they are most of the time same or similar. Because of this i decided I'll do the same thing. From all the action films i researched on i realised the colour used the most is white. This is why i decided to use white for my credits in the film opening.
(Production name)

(Actors name) Victim
(Actors name) Hit man

For the title of the film i did it different because from my research i found out the title is always different. The title is the important part of the film and needs to stand out. My old title i made in motion was in different shades of red colour, i realised in my film there is no sign of red in it. I decided to change the colour to Yellow with orange outline. I chose these colours in particular is because in the opening of the scene you could see the sun, i made a link to this for my title colour. I also thought it stands out on a black background and make it look like more of an action film.

For all the credits and title i used this behaviour. The reason why i chose the 'type on' behaviour is because it is quick and fast which is needed in an action film. The old behaviour i used was very slow and steady which did not suite an action film.

For are gym scene we wanted to show that time has past by. The gym scene is straight after the flashback. We decided to use this font that we found in motion because it looks like a digital clock which shows that time has passed by. The numbers and letters going really fast shows a time period has gone.

At the begging of the scene we put this credit in. The bullet represents are group/production name. The colour i used for this title is orange because it blends in with the fire, also are title has some orange colour in it. We decided to make this different because in most movies at the begging there is always the big entrance of a famous company. I found this out from my credit research i did.

Extra Scene Added

This was an extra scene added to are film opening. We had to get this done asap. This scene was needed because in the film (old footage) the actor started running without no one chasing him, this is what the viewers have said that it indicated to them. We put this scene in to show that he was in shock when he found out someone was after him.

Reduced sound for this scene

This is a point of view shot of the victim waking up. This is the opening scene to the film. However, the noise of the wind in the film was very loud and there is a voice over in this scene.

To remove the wind sound this is what we did on final cut. We reduced most of the loud wind but kept some so it doesn't sound silent in the park. Because of this we can clearly hear the voice over in this scene.
